I signed up for an advertiser account at Bidvertiser a while back and periodically I get an offer for 20 dollars in free clicks. The problem is they ask for your credit card. Why if they are giving it away for free, do you need credit card? To me that seems like a catch to possibly start charging your credit card once you use up the 20 free dollars. I’d be interested if anyone took up the free offer and didn’t get billed without their permission. I don’t think 20 dollars in clicks is that useful anyways, were talking 100 clicks (visits) probably, which is really nothing. I have sites that get more than that in a few hours and I’ve never paid a dime in promoting them.

I found a group of plugins that are great for wordpress plugins. These only work for Wordpress versions 2.1 and above.

The first one is WP Useronline 2.11 plugin. It will display inside your dashboard, the number of registered members, guests, and robots that are currently on your blog in the last 5 minutes. It will tell them what url on your blog they are looking at and where they came from. You can download it here

The next is called the WP Stats 2.11 plugin. It will display general statistics about your blog such as top commenters and their profiles and the most commented blog posts. You can download this plugin here

Another good one I found was the WP Postviews 1.11 . It will tally up the top 10 most viewed blog posts. This is great for finding out which of your blog posts is a hot topic at the moment. Download it here

Trace Number.com is a great website if you want to find out detailed information on the identity of a caller based on just the phone number. Simply type in the phone number you want to look up and it gives you the; state, country, phone carrier, whether its a landline or cell phone, county, and even their city! I did some tests on some numbers and got all the information and it was all accurate. Unlisted numbers and certain cell phones won’t give the full information on the free search, but they had a link to where you could pay to find that information. The site loads very quickly with no annoying ads or popups too!

When I originally created an article on Dollars Blog about moving wordpress blogs a while back, it was about using PHPmyadmin and MySQL. While you still need to know how to create databases and install things when moving hosts, the need for using MySQL is now less with wordpress. Moving wordpress data around is now a piece of cake with the new import export feature introduced in Wordpress versions 2.1+.

Keep in mind there is some disadvantages to this convenience, as it doesn’t store everything. There is also some things it does do that the old SQL way of doing things doesn’t do. I really like the XML export backup feature and its one reason why it makes wordpress a great software for beginners to websites too.

In order to be listed on Clicksmart.com you must be licensed in the state you do business. Many states don’t require business licenses in every occupation, especially for Houston landscaping businesses. Find high quality professional certified landscaping in Houston area only through ClickSmart.com. Why settle for less, when you can always find reputable people easily online at Clicksmart.com. If you are familiar with the social networking site Digg, then
you will realize that Bumpzee is a similiar to Digg. Even the bumpzee button looks similiar to the Digg it button. Bumpzee is not as well known as Digg, so most wordpress plugins do not include it in the social networking icon bundle. You may not want to hassle with adding the extra clutter because of it being less popular than the others. However, every bit of traffic does add up.

I personally am not that fond of Bumpzee compared to Digg. Digg you can get some traffic from about anything. Bumpzee users seem to be more particular on what they bump on their site and it’s geared for only blogs unlike Digg.

You’ve probably heard of network solutions. They are one of the oldest domain registrars on the net. If you had a website in the 90’s, you probably registered your domain with them because they were practically the only well known registrars around for most of the 90’s. I seen a few prominent bloggers mention Twitter, mostly with good reviews. Personally the idea I think just is rather lame. Now I do some social networking on some of my sites, but twitter is where I draw the line. You can read more about how it works here. Definitely not a site worth wasting your time if you want to use social networking effectively.

I think social networking is just a major waste of time. The traffic is fleeting and it takes a lot to time to keep it going. I think this is an attempt by Twitter to come up with a new idea to stand out. If you do social networking, there is more effective social networking sites out there. I think Digg and stumbleupon are the easiest to use to build traffic.

Auto123.com is a large auto network. They have used cars for sale they can find in your area or in their classifieds. You can also learn about all the new car models on their site. You can even watch videos and read official reviews by journalists and by visitors to the site.

I been checking out the Porsche Boxster because it is a really nice sport car. It is smoother driving and nicer looker than the Corvette.
