I came accross today by accident a site called Magnify.net. You don’t need hosting all you need is a domain to have your custom domain pointed to their server. You can have your own video portal. The website looks very professional and currently you can put your own adsense etc inside it.

The only downside is you will be using 3rd party software and hosting, which is a risk because in the future they may have it so you can only split your ad profits with them. Plus backups and hosting will always be dependant on them.
