Clickbooth Review
I signed up for Clickbooth Affiliate Network about a year ago because it had some affiliate programs for some other sites I owned that were only found in this network. If you are a publisher, you might have heard about them since they been in business for 5 years. I’ve never heard of anything negative about Clickbooth and have had a positive experience with them myself.
Clickbooth has a lot of big name brands such as ADT, efax, america online, direct TV, reunion.com, dish Network, to name a few. I find using some of the popular brand names are great for getting conversions and clicks because when someone sees the ad they are already familiar with the product and brand. You can choose between pay per click, pay per sale, or pay per lead advertisers in the network. Most are pay per sale in the network. You must apply and be accepted to each individual merchant before you can begin using that merchant. Merchants usually have many different types of unique image banners and text links available.
Clickbooth also has an 2nd tier affiliate program that pays 2% for life on the affiliates earnings you refer, but also a $10 bonus per affiliate referral. U.S citizens must disclose their Social security number and file a w-9 for tax purposes. You have to reach $50 minimum global balance to receive a payout, which is payed by the 15th of the following month.

This is interesting.
My brother in law is a police officer, and she tells me never never to give anyone my social security number.
Even encrypted sites only means that no one outside the firm to which you are applying to will have ready access to the SSN.
Unfortunately, what my brother in law tells me is that the people at the firm to which you are applying have access. That combined with information readily available for about $10 on the internet gives anyone a chance to steal identity.
Perhaps the firm to which you are applying is perfectly legit. But, that doesn’t mean that the dozens of low paid clerks working there are, and that’s where the problem is to be found.
I realize the SSN disclosure requirement, but I just can’t do it and protect again identity theft.
It’s a no win situation.
Any suggestions?
