I’ve noticed a lot of blogs use a blogroll link manager widget by the site Blogrolling. One advantage of using it is with one click of a button you can add links to your blogroll while you surf the internet. It also makes it more convenient for others to add you to their own blogroll. You can easily add little icons and other things to your blogroll links too.

I’m happy with the functionality of wordpress’s link manager for Dollars blog so I won’t try it. I can see how this might be benficial if you are using a free blogger service like blogspot. It could also make it easier for fellow bloggers to add you because the widget makes it easier to add you. Plus, it probably helps bloggers know that you are open to blogroll exchanges.
