Adbrite is a Pay per click network that offers banner ads, video units, and text link units. They also allow people to purchase ads through their marketplace on your banner units. I used them for a while and found them to be a poor earner.

When you first started out with adbrite, did it pay you better?

Actually it seems like it did pay better in the beginning. I personally think Adbrite is a bunch of cheats, they are the owners of another website that I can’t say here cause it contains profanity.

I agree that adbrite earning is very low compared to adsense but at least I don’t have any worry of being banned.

I can’t say my experience was the same as you. I actually earn a lot more from AdBrite than from some other ad programs. The key is to have lots of traffic to your site/blog (even untargeted), but massive. Then you earn from the AdBrite’s CPM advertisements. I earn around half a dollar a day = $15/month. That’s good money for me, as a beginner in making money online.

I agree on the low earning part. You need a website with a ton of pageviews to get your cpm price raised.
