RevenuePilot is a PPC advertising network since 2001. First, don’t expect RevenuePilot to be nearly as profitable as Google Adsense. However, they are a great alternative to Google Adsense among all the PPC networks out there. RevenuePilot is not for everyone. You must have it on an actual domain name (no free hosted site such as blogger.com or geocities). They also don’t count clicks outside of U.S, Australia, Britain, Canada. So if you target people outside of these countries your earnings will be extremely low.

What I like about RevenuePilot is you can see live updates of their keyword bids. You can just type in what keyword you want and they will tell you the bid price. You get 60% cut of that bid when someone clicks on it. You get to pick and choose your keywords for every ad also. As a result, if you do a lot of searching around for keywords, you can make your earnings fairly good.

At first when I searched for some keywords, they were all just a few cents. It wasn’t until I tried again the next day on some more, that I found a few gems that usually bid between 48 cents to 75 cents. My best advice is to search many kinds of keywords and find out which ones do well on a consistent basis. The click through rate is going to be less than Google adsense due to poorer ad targeting on keywords, less advertisers in the network and because RevunePilot isn’t as well known as Google(users less likely to click the ads).

RevenuePilot has many great ad choices and customization not available on other PPC advertisers. I really like is these nice keyword text links they have. They look just like regular links on your site, as it is just a link with the keyword text. You will get high click through rates as a result, because they blend in well with other links on your site.

Another thing that is different from Adsense and other PPC networks is, you don’t have to have “announce” it as an ad. You don’t have to have “powered by RevenuePilot” inside the ad block. I chose to leave it with the ads so people know it’s an ad. Also, having that show in the ad means if someone signs up after clicking on it you get 10% of their earnings for life. Very few PPC networks have a 10% commission for life on referrals. The minimum payout is 25 dollars by Paypal or 50 by check. Just like with Google Adsense and YPN you, will need to fill the online tax form out before you can get paid.
