About MSN Adcenter - PPC Advertising Network
MSN Adcenter is the PPC advertising network for their Live search engine and has been operating since 2005. It works similiar to Google Adwords and Yahoo’s Search Marketing. Earlier in 07 MSN added a lot of new features, so if you checked it out a couple years ago as an advertiser, you may want to look at it again. Adcenter is now accepting publishers too. There standards are high for the publisher program, so dont bother applying unless you have a high quality traffic site. I don’t know anything about the publisher aspect, since I haven’t been accepted yet.
Advantages to MSN adcenter for advertisers:
Since MSN adcenter is newer than the other two, bid prices will be less competitive (i.e cheaper!). Users are reporting that it’s easier to manage than Yahoo, but not as good as Google Adwords. It’s good for newbies to affiliate/website marketing as you can get started for only 5 dollars and minimum keyword bid is 5 cents. If you are already doing Google Adwords and Yahoo, you should add MSN adcenter into the mix and see how it compares.
